Now the one French people who takes care of me has Japanese lesson 2 or 3 times a week. I and he were invited at his teacher’s home for dinner last night. There were another 5 people who usually learn Japanese there. We cooked rolled “SUSHI” then. They were good at cooking it well.
Although I’m Japanese, I was very ashamed that I didn’t use to cook rolled SUSHI. They must have thought why I don’t know about the way to cook it well. After having dinner, we took a little Japanese green tea made of the special green tea powder. Now generally,
us Japanese seldom take it. When we have such tea that I've just explained above now, we'll be required some good manners.

I thought I must learn my national culture more then.

Anyway I hadn’t thought at all that I would learn Japanese culture earlier than I did Polynesian culture in Tahiti Island.

Please look at the picture on right side.　As you can see, this is a cup but it isn’t normal size. We drink coffee with this cup every morning. In addition, coffee is full in the one.

First I was very surprised at drinking coffee with it.

Fortunatelly I used to look up at beautiful starry sky in Okinawa area, Japan for the last ５ years so I'm not recently impressed easily just looking at starry sky anywhere.

But The starry sky in Tahiti have been different from Japanese thing. The stars in Tahiti are quite twinkling. I'm sorry that I can't show you any great pictures on this blog. I'll suggest you come here someday and please look up at starry sky.

Ia orana!!

"Ia orana" means HELLO in Tahitian. This is Polynesian language.

I went to 3 local travel agencies to say hello yesterday. Most of people that I met there today were Japanese but they were very fluent in French. I was really surprised at it and impressed.

At noon, we ordered one fish hunbarger at the snack shop. Then I was surprised at the quite big hamburger. That size is nearly same as the face of child. There is tuna and cabbage with mayonnaise in the bread.
About taste!! The bread was fried well so it smelled very nice. There was a bit hard but that was good I felt crisp. It looked such as a Sandwich rather than hamburger.

Hello!!

I've just changed the title of this blog now. I've already started my new life.

Finally I've come to Tahiti in French Polynesia 3 days ago to work in Bora Bora Island from 2th of December as staff of marine activities.
I'm staying at my French acquaintance's home in Tahiti Island until the end of this month.
As I said on the previous blog, It took just one year to get here because it was difficult for us Japanese to get French Long Stay Visa. "Just in case, I haven't been being on the airplane all year around." Hahahahaha・・・
As it was written on the travel guide book, 3 Polynesian people welcomed us playing the ukulele.
That really was tropical atmosphere in the airport.

Yesterday I went to Papeete that is the capital of this country to get the staying permission and working permission. I can't understand French at all so my French acquaintance took me to public office. He is quite kind. He learns Japanese hard. I must follow his attidude.
I need to learn both English and French. At least I have to improve my ability of English more and more than now.

Many kinds of food are sold in the market that is located in Papeete. For example fruits, vegetables, snack meals, fish and meet and so on.

Good evening!!

At last, I got the working visa of one countory today. It took 11 months until now since I had started action to get the visa.

I'll leave Japan at around the middle of November.

I have to reserve a flight ticket and pick up my parcels from now. Especially, I'm ordering a rice cooker because I like rice better than noodles and breads. As you know, us Japanese has white rice very very often. there is one thing that I noticed when I was looking for a rice cooker to get it this time. It's that some rice cookers don't have any functions to keep the rice warm and timer of starting boiling the rice. Most of all the rice-cookers are sold in Japan have their functions.

Good morning!!

I went to the Disneyland in Tokyo, Japan 2 days ago after it's been 4 years.

I thought it had been quite as popular as ever. Although it was weekday, there were a lot of people more than I excepted but I was able to ride many rides and see a few movies.

An amusement grounds always makes us pleased and takes us back to our second childhood.

As you know, today North korea carried out the experiment in atomic bomb.
Naturally also I'm scared of their action but I'm caring which way Japanese economy is going from now. Because I'm recently interested in the stocks market. I really hope it won't be worse!!

Good evening!!

I remember, a terrible typhoon hit Ishigaki Island in Okinawa, Japan at the middle of Sep. In Japan, typhoons often pass through over Okinawa area so people who live there are used to the typhoons. But the terrible typhoon had been quite strong as the people in Ishigaki were also suprised.

Guess what!! The maximum instantaneous wind speed was about 70m per second. What do you image about it!?
Naturally it was so terrible that caused much damage. "The telegraphic poles fell down" "the cars and the boats turned over" for example.
We were forced to live without the light for 3 nights in a row due to no electricity. It was inconvenient for us to be in that situation.

I've never had an experience like this before. I thought I'd never like to have an experience again.

Hello!! I came back from Ishigaki Island last night.
I often saw Manta Ray in Ishigaki during the scuba diving. That fish is very large. One of those, the width was far more than 3 meters.

I sometimes go to the sea. I saw MANTA some times during the scuba diving.

Finally, I passed an examination of boat's operator licence yesterday. I'm very relieved now.

I'm taking the courese of the aquatic motorbike next Monday. Its examination is going to take place on next Thursday. I think that the content this time will be easier than the content of the boat. I wish to finish all the things about boat as soon as possible.

Good evening!!

Yesterday I made a contact with a acquuaintance who lives in Ishigaki Island in Okinawa now after a long time.

He runs the Scuba diving shop, the hoptel and casual wear shop. They will be very busy from now because it's going to be summer vacation in Japan. Especially, the students are having a vacation about for 50 to 80 days. A lot of people visit there to trip every this season.

He was worrying about the lack of staff and looking for anyone who wants to work in Ishigaki Island. When I heard that, although it won't be long term, I thought I'd like to work with him there so I said him that.

I haven't got his exact reply yet.
I hope to do it!!

It's located about 200 kilometers away to south from Tokyo.
We can get there by the ship or the flight.

I'll write about moray that is popular among scuba divers.
Its name is Ribbon moray. The adult males have bright blue and yellow color. The children one have just black color. Although length of adult bodies is 1.2 meters, they are very thin and not nervous so we can approch at them easily and without being bitten.

Good morning!!

I need one certification of no crime history to apply for working visa. Naturally I get it for the first time.
I have to go to the police station which is around 200 km away from here tomorrow. I think it's very secret and important because I have to submit an extract copy of my family register, a copy of inhabitant register, my passport and letter of introduction from the embassy to them. It will take about one week to issue. In addition, we are prohibited from opening envelope.
I'm interested in how it's written.

In Japan, it's rainy season now so it's uncomfortable for us in this season.

By the way, I finished the studies of boat license just once yesterday. But I need to do it 2 or 3 more times at least to memorize things completely. And I have to take the second studies on 19th.
In that examination, the number of questions is 64. The examination of practice will take place on another date.

I was interested in Pink squat Robster and Mandarine fish before leaving Japan.

Pink Squat Lobster has bright pink color as its name. A lot of hair cover their bodies.

Mandarine fish has 5 or 6 kinds of colors. I think they are very mysterious.

Liloan in Cebu

Hello!! I had a trip to Liloan in Cebu island, Philippine. Liloan is located in southern of Cebu city. It takes 3 hours and half by car from Macutan airport. I stayed at Liloan Marine Village. All of guests is Scuba Divers and Japanese. It was better if I was able to meet the people from the other contries.

The visibility was 10 to 20 meters. We were able to see a lot of kinds of fish, shrimps but not see big fish at all. (I had knew about it since before leaving Japan) Even though I'd like to introduce all the fish and views which I saw there to you, it'll be very diifficult to do it so I'll pick some of my favorite underwater pictures up. Well, I'm wondering which pictures shoud I attach. At first, I'll attach some pictures of view.
There was the sea in front of the hotel. We saw Negulos island on our right side. Local people was fishing on small boat.
I thought there was peaceful and I felt so relaxed.

Good afternoon!!

I am going to have a trip to Philippine for Scuba Diving for 8 days from tomorrow.
I cleaned my room up and then thrown much garbage and litter away in this morning. I've almost finished prepering for the trip.

I haven't done Scuba Diving in the last three monthes so I'm getting exacited little by little now. Another reason is to try to take pictures for the first time with underwater camera.

Good morning!! It's 5:35 a.m on Sunday now.

I've been staying up all night without a sleep because I was thinking various things. Well, Almost its reason is to had a sleep yesterday's daytime. Ha ha ha ha ha・・・・

I'm take a my certification picture with machine today for taking a Boat Licence Course and Special course. Special course means to take a licence of the water bike.
In Japan, we have to take 2 different courses separately to get those licences. Special licence wae included in Boat licence before.
So it takes more days and cost more than before. How are those in your countries?

I am going out for lunch. I seldom do it usually so I'm looking forward to having lunch. We can have more than 60 kinds of meal as much as we like for around 1600 JPY at the Japanese resturant.
If it was possible for me to have all kinds, I would be so happy. Ha ha ha ha ha !!

I'm watching 2 boxing fights on TV tonight. The Japanese figthers are recently very famous and they have many his fans.
They are brothers. They are called as the Kameda brothers. Both of them are professional boxers. I think that's very great.

As I see people who do something seriously, I'm so excited. They give me many excitements. I really like better real TV programs than fictional ones.

I'm watching TV program is telecasted from New York, U.S.A. One person have been spending for 3days underwater. I heard that his aim is to spend for 7days. That's great!!
Even I was undrewater for an hour and a half for the Scuba diving, I was satisfied and a little tired. I don't believe his challenge. I hope that he will break the past record.

Hello!! How are you?!

I am going shopping for tomorrow's dinner later. I'm going to cook GYOUZA!!
Do you know GYOUZA?(fried pork and vegetables dumplings) It's made of minced pork, cabbage, napa cabbage, leek, a little bit of garlic and the wrap made from flour.

I love them very much so I sometimes cook.
I'll cook 150 pieces of GYOUZA at a time tomo!! We can keep them in the freezer.

Hello!! How is it going!?
I've been staying up until now from coming back this morning. Even though that's not too good for health.

By the way, do you know that many working people have a long holiday at the beginning of May in Japan. Its term depends on each company. The longest holiday is only for 9 days. Maybe you might be suprised but it's normally very difficult for us Japanese to take a holiday for 9 days running.
I think it's very short compared with other advanced contries.
I sometimes think what's the purpose of being alive. Just to work????? I really wonder about it. What do you think about it?

Good evening!! Now the Japanese time is 21:20 on Thursday. I'm leaving home in an hour for going work. I decided to have a trip to Philippine for 8 days at the beginning of June. I'll reserve it tomorrow or the day after tomo. So I'll work it my best in May. ha ha ha・・・!! I'm excited now because I'm looking forward to taking a lot of pictures of underwater by a new camera that I bought the other day.

The depth of water 60 meters

Hello!! I was wathching the Scuba Diving program on TV some time ago.

I saw the place where the depth of water was 60 meters. I was keen on that program because we can't go there normally even be a proffesional diver. It's a very dangerous action.
There were various types of more beautiful fish there than I was expecting. They have red, pink, yellow color and so on. Then I remembered that in the underwater, the warm colors fade away earlier than the cold colors as going down deeper because the light isn't enough for the warm colors.

In short, their bodies look dark color like black and dark gray. So they have warms colors, it's possible for them to protect themselves from enemies.

I wish to see fish that are in the deep underwater!!

Hello!! I've Just got home now from sports gym.
It wasn't too crowded there today. I felt good because I felt like I was occupying the whole facilities only by myself .

There were just a few people in the park that we can see many people on weekend. There were more birds rather than people!! The weekday makes me feel a sense of superiority.

Good morning!! In Japan, a week starts from today.

By the way, I recently think that many Japanese English words are used in Japan. I really think we don't need to make Japanese English because most of their pronounciations and meanings are very different from real English.
For example, we Japanese say "Pulin" for the Pudding.

We should take over more pronunciations which the native speakers speak, from first. It's a waste of time to learn 2 types of English!! Japanese English is useless in the other countries!!

One Japanese person who has been said as passing away in the second world war is still alive in Ukraine at the moment. As you know well, about 61 years have passed since the war was over. I think that he must have had a trouble to live. He also is one of war victims. We should never do the war again.

Good morning!! It's cloudy this morning. I wonder if it will rain.
I am going to start working also from midnight. So I'm going to go to Sports gym in this morning, go shopping for dinner and then I'll take a little nap in this afternoon.
I seldom eat out because I'd like to have various foods as much as I want. And I usually consider the proportion of meats or fish to vegetables. I'm thinking what I will have dinner tonight. It's one of my pleasures to plan meals.

By the way, I often hear from news program recently that a few Japanese police officers committed a crime. I'm so disappointed about it. I'd like them to have a pride more. I don't understand why they do like that.
In general, Japan is familiar as a safe country in the world. But the police officer who has to keep an eye on our societies does stupid actions now. I wonder whether Japanese future will go to good course or not. I'm worrying about Japanese future!!

Hello!! How are you!? Did you have a good time for last weekend? I went to the sports gym both Saturday and Sunday.To my shame, I'm still a little tired. When I'm like this, I feel like having somthing sweet. I love chocolates very much!! The name of my favorite chocolate is Ghana milk chocolate is sold from LOTTE company. It' s easy for me to have a sheet of chocolate for a short time. And the chocolate products including much cacao are sold recently. Those taste tend to be bitter but I really love also those chocolates. Can you recommend a nice chocolate around you?

Good morning!! I got up at 5 o'clock in this morning. Because of working in the night usually, I can't sleep for a long time in the night but I always have a good sleep.
I went to the sports gym last evening. I am going there with my girlfriend also today. After doing exercise, we'll probably have a nice sleep also tonight. I am hungry now so I'll have breakfast soon. What I am going to have are rice, fish, an egg, thing like sea weed in vinegar and fermented soybeans.
In Japan, the fermented soybeans is called NATTO and Japanese has been loving it as "the beef of the field" since a long time ago. Natto has high protein but low fat. Natto cleans the blood.
I have these foods every day including the Natto. I think that to have a good eating habit is very important for our healths and keeping our youths!!

Good morning!! How did you feel after waking up this morning?

I heard from the news program yesterday that the accident with the bicycle is increasing recently so the police had decided to keep an eye on the people riding on the bicycle seriously from now.
I often ride on it recently but I also think that the manners of the people ride on the bicycle is a little bad. Especially a few people of us Japanese run without turning on the light even in the night. I really think that it is very dangerous. I have to be careful of riding on the bicycle more. All is for our safty!!

By the way, I'm glad to get a good news now. I heard my best friend is going to France on business. I think it's so great that he is active in not only in Japan but also in the other countries.
I'm proud of his position on business and him character. He is very clever and kind. I used to learn study from him in junior high school days. (laugh) That takes me back!! It's been a long time since I met him last time so I wanna try to find a time to catch up with him in the near future.

Good evening everybody!!
I'm planning a trip for 8 days in Cebu island, Philippine at the beginning of June. Naturally the purpose of the trip is to do the Scuba diving. I won't stay in Macutan island but in Boljoon, Cebu island.
It takes more than 3 hours by car from the center of Cebu. I've never been there but I'm interested in it. The expenses will be very cheap compeared with having a diving trip in Japan or the other countries.
13 tanks and all the meals during the stay are included in the trip price.
As I don' t need to care to payment while I'm having a trip, I really like a trip like this and I'll feel refreshed.

I'm happy that I heard from my boss that it won't take so long time to get a working permission of the other country. That reply was better result than I expected.
I'd really like to live and work in the other country that there is beautiful the sea to improve myself.
If you think that you want to start doing something new, please go fot it. Because we have only one life and the time is passing quickly. I think, even if we throw away some things we have now, we would be able to get back something new.

Good morning!! It's been a long time since I typed the blog last time.

About me, I did shopping to get a digital camera and its waterproof protector in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. In addition, I went to Sunshaine Building to see the Marine diving Fair as well.

Good morning!! It was terrible windy yesterday in Tokyo and Chiba city. I heared from the weather forecast some time ago that the speed of the wind was 31,7m/s. And it of the past was broken this time.
Come to think of it, I remember that as if outside condition was typhoon when I go out on the rainy night of the day before yesterday. And just as I felt dangerous so I came back home right now. To tell the truth, I was a little scared of it. I'm afraid that most of Cherry blossoms fell from the trees because of the terrible wind.

Hello!! It's cloudy today but it's warm. According to the weather forecast, it seems that it will start raining from this afternoon.

I'll type about the happenings during staying in Palau. I had a trip for doing sucba diving in Palau on the end of February.

As we were on the boat to get to the diving point,A lot of Dolhine suddenly appeared around us.Most of us were very happy and took the camera quickly. Maybe I think that the number of Dolphine were 50 or 100 then. They swam with our boat so we were able to take some good pictures.
Dolphine made us feel so comfortable.

I have never swum with their. I'd like to do it in the near future.

I have already been to abroad twice to do Scuba Diving this year.
My boom of about diving is to watch or find small fish out. Especially I am interested in Yellow shrimp-goby. Its color is mostly yellow color and has some light blue color points on body but the Goby that body color is Black exist as well. (I have never seen it.) The Goby with yellow stand out against white sand of the bottom.

Sea Resort

Good evening!! It's quite fine today although it's chilly.
Today's topic is about the Sea Resort.
I have for the first time stayed at the aquatic cottage called KAPARAI ISLAND RESORT in January this year. It is located in the east side of Borneo Island in Malaysia. We lived on the water around the clock.
All the buildings in the resort were cleaned up well so I could spend a time comfortably during be there.
And the meal was almost chinese but we could have foods as much as we wanted. So we needed to pay attention not to have foods too much. (laugh)

Sipadan island, it's very famous as diving point. We can get there easily by the boat.
We can see a lot of big fish, Barracuda,Napoleon, Buffalo Fish, Gray Reef Shark,for example. The visibility was averagely around 15 meters. Naturally we can enjoy watching small kinds of fish as well. I have loved this place and I will recommend there to all of divers.

Hello!! Do you know Japanese meal, SUSHI?

I had some sushi yesterday after a long time.
Sushi is one of the most famous Japanese meals in the world.
We needed to pay high expences to have Sushi before but we are able to have it in low cost nowadays because of KAITEN SUSHI. Kaiten Sushi is reasonable restaurant. It costs one dollar per dish.
Sushi has raw seafood on a small cake of rice mixed with vinegar and sugar. The raw seafood are such as fish, shrimp, sea urchin,crab and so on. Please refer to the picture above.

If you want the hot taste, it's better to have Sushi with WASABI. Wasabi is very very hot paste. Its color is light green like ABOGADO or MELON. Please take care of how much wasabi you eat when you have something Japanese in Japan and try to have Sushi once.

Exercise

Good evening!! How is it going?
I have recently joined the Sports Gym. I have done the exercise also today.Its menu is stretching my body at first and then cycling for 30 mins and running for 30 mins with the machines. At last, swimming for 20 mins. Sweating, in short ,the moderate tiredness makes me feel so good and giving me a great sleep. I’d like to go to Sports Gym 3 or 4 times in a week to have an good effect on my physical strength and keeping my youth. Come to think of it, also the condition of my skin is getting better.(laugh)

Hello!! Now Japanese time is 2:10 p.m of 25th.

In this season, the National Championship of high school baseball is taking place at KOUSHIEN stadium in Osaka. (Osaka is the metropolis next to Tokyo. )
That's taken place twice a year. In addition, the professional baseball game is starting today. Baseball is very popular here.
Especially, as National baseball team recently won gold medal in the World Baseball Championship, now the poularity is increasing more than before in Japan.
I like baseball,too. I used to play it as almost every day in a childhood. (That takes me back!!) I am a little disappointed that it's getting difficult for us to have a chance to do the team sports with age.

Spring

It's very fine also today. Finally the spring season has come. The cherry blossoms, Japanese national flower has recently begun to bloom. That is very beautiful with light pink color but its life is so short time. In general, it is only for around 2 weeks.
Us Japanese have a custom that we have some drinks under the cherry trees in this time of the year.
It's said "OHANAMI".

How do you do? I am Japanese and in Japan now.
I'd like to communicate with people in the other countries. Althought I am not still good at English, I'll type the Blog my best.
I love the sea and scuba diving very much. I work as diving instructor at the resort of Okinawa in Japan for summer season. As you know, the winter season in Japan is cold so it's not comfortable to do the Scuba diving in this season here in Japan.
I go to resorts in the other countries to do scuba diving a few times for the off season. I have already been to Kapalai island in Malasia JAN 2006 and Palau FEB 2006.
By the way, even though I can't clearly tell you now, I may be working at the resort in the other country from around the end of this summer. I hope that it will come true.
If I can get work there, I will imform you about various things of that resort.
